About Department:

The Department of English was
established in the same year as the founding of the College, i.e., 1956. The
Department has a glorious tradition of eminent scholars who have served both as
Heads of the Department and as faculty. These renowned savants include Father
Victor Rocha, Sr. Eleanor, Fr. Lawrence Fernandes and Mr. A. M. George.

Vision:
To enhance proficiency in the use of the English Language.

Mission:
To Inspire and Motivate students to acquire and appreciate the nuances of the English
Language in a global context.
