SFS College follows a structured and supportive approach for students who require additional academic assistance. The objective is to identify learning gaps early, provide timely intervention and help every student progress academically.
Remedial classes are conducted for academically weak and slow learners to strengthen foundational concepts and improve academic performance.
At the time of admission, the Principal interacts with parents and students to understand their needs, aspirations and areas where academic support may be required.
Students are assigned to faculty mentors who provide regular academic guidance, counselling and personal support throughout the course of study.
Approximately 20 students are assigned to a faculty mentor, enabling closer monitoring and more individualized academic attention.
Mentors regularly interact with students to identify academic difficulties and issues that may affect their ability to learn or impede academic success.
Academic performance and attendance are communicated to parents regularly. Mentors interact with parents after unit tests to discuss student progress.

Based on identified learning gaps, departments provide remedial classes, additional explanations, course materials, question banks, class tests and revision of difficult topics. Progress is reviewed periodically and further support is provided wherever required.
