The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is a digital/virtual academic service mechanism established to facilitate students as academic account holders and support credit recognition, accumulation, transfer and redemption.
It is intended to support greater flexibility in higher education, including academic mobility between or within degree-granting Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Academic Mobility

Important Points Students Should Understand
ABC is not the degree-awarding authority
ABC maintains the digital academic-credit mechanism. The requirements for a degree, diploma or certificate remain subject to the rules and academic requirements of the registered degree-awarding institution.
Credit transfer is not automatic
An academic credit appearing in the ABC ecosystem does not mean that every receiving programme must automatically apply it toward every course or degree. Recognition remains subject to the applicable institutional and programme requirements.
Institutions transmit credit records
