Career Katta is an initiative of the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, implemented in coordination with the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre (MITSC).
At St. Francis de Sales College, Career Katta provides a platform through which students can access guidance and awareness related to career opportunities, competitive examinations, entrepreneurship, skill development, credit earnings under the new CBCS and NEP Curriculum Framework, internships and placement opportunities.
Through a range of activities, courses, counselling sessions and competitive-examination-oriented initiatives, Career Katta seeks to help students make informed decisions about their academic progression, career aspirations and professional development.

Students can participate in Career Katta activities subject to the stated eligibility and registration conditions.
Any student admitted for any regular course in the College is eligible to join. College alumni may also be referred by the College Coordinator.
The registration fee is a one-time payment of Rs. 365 for the three-year degree period, stated as approximately Rs. 0.36 per day.
Registration includes access to activities, courses, State Level Competitive Exams and related Career Katta opportunities as described by the College.
