The Mathematical Society

The Mathematical Society of S.F.S. College was started in the year 2002 with the objective to develop the over-all personality and organizing skills of the students and to create awareness of the recent trends in the subject.            

Activities of the Society:

  • Mathematical Charts and Model making competitions

  • Seminars

  • Chart making competition on various Scientists and their work
  • Guest lecture by Dr. Sarwe on Uniform convergence of sequence of functions
  • Guest lecture by Dr Sujatha Janardhan on the life and work of Srinivasa Ramanujan
  • 1st prize won by Team-I Sem I, III, V students namely Suryakumar Piyush Paunikar and Himanshu Sharma
