Instrumentation Laboratory
The instrumentation laboratory houses a wide range of equipment including colorimeters, potentiometers, conductometers, pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers, vacuum pumps, centrifuges and other laboratory apparatus.
Instrumentation resources include: photoelectric and digital colorimeters, potentiometers, conductivity meters, pH meters, de-ionisers, de-mineralisers, vacuum pumps, electric ovens, heating mantels, melting point apparatus, analytical balances, distillation equipment, centrifuge machines, spectrophotometers, electrodes, digital polarimeters, ultrasonic interferometers and photochemical equipment.

Library Access
The departmental library issues books to P.G. students during the examination period against deposit. The collection is intended to support focused academic preparation and subject-specific study.
The library facilities are also available to Chemistry teachers for academic reference in accordance with the departmental library rules.
Departmental Library Rules & Regulations
- The book/s is issued for 7 days.
- PG Chemistry students shall get one book at a time.
- Chemistry teachers may issue two books at a time.
- Extension of the date of return or consecutive reissue of the book after 7 days is not allowed.
- A fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged if the book is not returned on the due date.
- In case a book is lost, misplaced or damaged by the borrower, the cost of the book shall be levied or the same new book shall be purchased and returned to the library.
