  • It is a grant-in-aid undergraduate course affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Approved by Government of Maharashtra and recognized by UGC under 2f and 12b.
  • The course is of the Three years duration comprising of Six Semesters. Examinations are conducted by R. T. M. Nagpur University.

B.Sc. SEMESTER- I – Two Paper (50 marks each)

Paper I- Viruses, Prokaryotes,  Algae and Biofertilizers

Paper II- Fungi, Lichen, Plant-Pathology, Bryophyta and Mushroom cultivation

B.Sc. SEMESTER-II – Two Paper (50 marks each)

Paper I- Palaeobotany, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Soil analysis

Paper II- & Morphology of Angiosperms and Floriculture

B.Sc. SEMESTER-III – Two Paper (50 marks each)

Paper I- Angiosperm Systematics, Embryology and Indoor gardening

Paper II- Angiosperm Anatomy and Horticulture

B.Sc. SEMESTER-IV- Two Paper (50 marks each)

Paper I- Cell Biology, Plant Breeding, Evolution and Seed Technology

Paper II- Genetics, Molecular Biology and Plant Nursery

Program outcomes:

  • B.Sc. graduates can join a Postgraduate level Degree programme in one of their optional subject to pursue further studies.
  • Students can opt to join B.Ed course to make career in Teaching.
  • Students can prepare and join IAS and other State and Central Government Services.
  • B.Sc graduates can get employed in research laboratories, Pharma companies and other ventures that require Science graduates with Life Science background.
